We are now looking for a qualified teacher in German - 50% position starting from HT 2026. This may be combined with other subjects if you have additional qualifications.

Job Description

Work as a teacher in grades 6-9. You will be part of a team with teachers who teach modern languages. Your work includes planning, implementing, and following up on your teaching based on LGR22. You will also have a mentorship role, which means you have overall responsibility for the students' knowledge development. You will have close communication with the students' guardians and conduct development talks.

We are looking for someone who wants to make a difference in the students' lifelong learning. Our operations are characterized by a positive outlook, and we have a strong belief in the students' abilities. A strong value foundation and positive view of students are very important to us. Together with your colleagues, you will work to create a safe, structured, developing, and stimulating learning environment for the students. You will work together in a team with teaching colleagues, support educators, and leisure staff. Our mission is to lead and support the students in their social and academic development together. In the team, educators help each other with planning, teaching, and the students' school day.

Where are you?

You have a Swedish teacher's degree with a focus on Modern Languages - German, as well as a Swedish teaching license. You have a clear pedagogical insight and the ability to implement the curriculum's goals in your work. You have a clear leadership style and are strong in your student groups. You are flexible, structured, and well-prepared. You are a present and co-researching educator who challenges and stimulates students to develop. A strong belief in collaboration as a success factor for pedagogical development is a given for you. You have straightforward and humble communication with guardians and create trusting relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues.

You should be positive and cooperative and ready to be part of an international team.

In your role, you will teach in Swedish/German, but we speak English/Swedish among colleagues. This means you need to be fluent in both languages, both spoken and written.
